Dr Okor is a Mentor at the HELP Fellowship. He is a previously UK-based Brain Surgeon, passionate Nigerian Health Sector Advocate, Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker and Youth Empowerment Mentor. His medical degree was in Benin City Nigeria and Specialist Medical training was in the United Kingdom. Douglas Emeka Okor, is Co-founder and Chair of the Ashanti Graham Health and Education Initiative Foundation (AGHEIF) – a charity with the vision “21st Century Health Care for Nigeria”. So far, AGHEIF has been involved in not only donating sophisticated and highly needed equipment worth millions of Naira to teaching hospitals in South-Southern Nigeria, but also in human capacity building, knowledge and skills transfer. Mr Okor is the current Patron of the Nigerian Society University of Sheffield. Douglas Okor is Consultant Neurosurgeon at Zitadel Medicals & Diagnostics plus the Brain and Spine Consortium, both organisations in Abuja, with subspecialist competence in Skull Base/Endoscopic Pituitary, Neurovascular and Complex Spinal Surgeries.
